John Bain
Michael died on 21 December 2015, aged just
18. He was in Harper House 2011 to 2014.
Michael had a deep interest in many things,
and read widely on diverse topics, particularly
science and education. He was a gifted
musician, playing the guitar and keyboard, both
largely self-taught. The programme from House
Music in 2011 noting Michael as the pianist for
Harper House when he was in Year 9 is special
to his family.
Michael will be remembered by his friends and
family (parents Prue and David, and twin sisters
Anna and Laura) for his non-judgmental, kind
quiet nature, and his very sharp wit.
