New Zealand Medical Association).
In addition to his numerous contributions to
medicine, Shailer has been a loyal supporter
of College. As well as being an Honorary Life
Member of the CCOBA (one of only eight living),
Shailer is a donor, tour guide (recently retired)
and assisted with editing the tenth edition of
the School List. He has been of great support
throughout the rebuild process of College by
bringing in morning tea to the onsite contractors.
“I am fond of the place” says Shailer,“and believe
Christ’s College has the ability to produce fine
young men for society. It is terribly important to
lead by example when support is called for.”
Shailer’s other achievements include Life
