SIGNPOST
All Year 12 have 1 period a week called
‘signpost’ during which guest speakers talk to
the students about a wide variety of topics
relevant to their lives. They range from
tertiary institutions to health and social issues,
employment, youth rights and the law,
budgeting.
HOW IS THE COURSE ASSESSED
Topics will be assessed by a Level 2
Achievement Standard.
QUALIFICATION GAINED IF STANDARDS
SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED
Up to 18 credits for NCEA Level 2
WHAT WILL IT COST
Approximately $47 for class trips and retreat
