None, but Level 1 and/or 2 Technology Soft
Materials is an advantage.
CONTENT
Student focus on creating one or two complex
garments that are made for a specific
purpose.
Practical skills and portfolio evidence need to
show:
- How to make a pattern
- How to work with difficult fabrics
- Interpreting design
- Why garments are successful
HOW IS THE COURSE ASSESSED
Asse are a mixture of internal and external
achievement standards and the course is UE
approved. The written reports qualify as
literacy credits in some standards.
