In mid-October
Recipes from the
Tartan Kitchen,
the St Andrew’s
College cookbook, was officially
launched with a fabulous party
hosted by Ballantynes, who are one
of the cookbook’s major sponsors.
Ballantynes’ CEO Maria O’Halloran
(pictured centre) officially opened the
event. The theme was St Andrew’s
College meets Ballantynes market day
showcasing displays of wine and food
all from the cookbook. Students from
the College’s Food Technology team
created delicious recipes such as StAC
Attack Trifle, Corn Fritters and Sinful
Slice, which were eagerly devoured
by guests. It was a wonderful evening
celebrating this beautiful publication.
Rector Christine Leighton thanked all
those involved from the sponsors to
parent volunteers and staff.
