ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Satisfactory results in NCEA Level 1 Physical
Education or with HOD approval.
CONTENT
- Analysing risk management in outdoor
activities.
- Perform a physical activity in an applied
setting e.g. Ki-o-Rahi, rock climbing
- First aid course
- ABL in outdoor education
- Plan and run an event
- Demonstrate social responsibility
- Plan and implement a training programme
and reflect on biophysical principles that
relate to exercise
HOW THE COURSE IS ASSESSED
The course is a combination of unit standards
and achievement standards.
